About Destination: Caffeination

Welcome to Destination:Caffeination.

Did you like Kettle and Cup? Well, it’s me, again. You know…Coffee, Tea…. it’s all about the caffeine kick.

We all want to go there, admit it. Every single day millions of people, all over the world, start their day with some sort of caffeine kick start. At Destination Caffeination we understand…because we are junkies, too. You need your fix, right now. What’s the best coffee bean out there? How do you make French Press Coffee? What is the difference between loose leaf and bagged tea?

It’s all here. And if that wasn’t enough there are recipes, reviews, how-tos, and even information about other beverages that might not have caffeine but are none-the-less rockin’ good.

And now that I am in my own space?

Dang, you never know WHAT I am gonna do. Hey, check in, let me know you are here, and stick around. I haven’t changed…

Much.

It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity.  I bet this kind of thing does not happen to heroin addicts.  I bet that when serious heroin addicts go to purchase their heroin, they do not tolerate waiting in line while some dilettante in front of them orders a hazelnut smack-a-cino with cinnamon sprinkles.  ~Dave Barry

A Proper Tea is much nicer than a Very Nearly Tea, which is one you forget about afterwards.  ~A.A. Milne

This blog is one caffeinated blog-party.  You will find everything from Victorian tea menus and rituals  and tea parties with your kids to the zen of green tea.  Love coffee? Me to! Explore with me the  different types of beans and how they are roasted, the flavors, and just what IS a macchiato con panna?

I think if I were a woman I’d wear coffee as a perfume.  ~John Van Druten

Recipes for coffee and tea drinks, using coffee and tea flavorings, and as an accompaniment to coffee and tea will show up among the off-beat news and cool new products.  Pictures of antique and vintage teapots rub shoulders with images of the Colombian rain forest.      If it has to do with coffee or tea it will be here.

In Seattle you haven’t had enough coffee until you can thread a sewing machine while it’s running.  ~Jeff Bezos

Have I mentioned contests and give-aways?

Feel free to comment or drop me an email and let me know what  you are thinking.

  1. LOL. Some great quotes there! I have a friend who has a real Southern Tea shop in Texas. It’s like an aristocratic thing with all the perfect stuff. Let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll try to find you the link =)

  2. Oh yeah…. would love it.
