I have been looking at tea cloths this week.  I think that table cloths give a great, finished look to a table and I love them but I don’t use them…LOL! I have seen people make pillows and curtains and all kinds of way cool things with vintage tablecloths but I have never made anything with mine. Yeah, they are sitting in the cupboard waiting for something..I am not sure what yet. (more…)

This is based on a recipe from Epicurious. I love mango, it is such a sweet fresh flavor and it goes well will all kinds of tea. Green tea, Matcha powder, is THE in ingredient right now, and God forbid that someone would think I was not on the cutting edge here at Kettle and Cup. :)..And look..maybe you can get it to glow under a black light. This is my favorite of the coffees that Green Mountain sent me.  It is a dark roast, and as I have said, I am partial to a dark roast.  The beans are very aromatic, you open the bag and your brain perks up..”coffee? did someone say coffee?” (more…)

Sometimes you want something besides sweet tea or lemonade.  This is absolutely the best slushy drink in the universe, and you can vary the juices to suit what you have or your own taste. (more…)

Of the coffees that Green Mountain sent me, this one was my favorite.

It really surprised me because it is a lighter roast than I like but it is smooth and aromatic with a balanced acidity.

So, you evolved from instant to Folgers Gourmet…and then to Millstone whole bean and then to artisian roast….and now, now you are thinking that maybe you would like to roast your own coffee. Great idea.

Coffee that is freshly roasted has a different flavor than coffee that is not. Even a couple of days can make a difference in the flavor. There are some awesome sources on the internet for green coffee beans, and unroasted beans stay fresh much longer than roasted.

Not only that but they are less expensive. That is a big plus, right? (more…)

You know the rest right?

Remember I told you about Kopi Luwak which is basically coffee that travels through the entire digestive system of a wild cat and then is ..uh excreted and cleaned and roasted…Hopefully cleaned well.

Then there was the Monkey spit coffee. A bean that a type of monkey spits out after he eats the berry. Yum!

(O.k..I am adding this note to say I have NOT posted about those coffees but I did write and article on them you can read, Unusual Coffees . I really thought I had posted here but I can’t find it.)
